Events at Trinity

  Our annual Christmas in July celebration is July 26 and we are hosting WV Sober Living houses in Charleston. There are currently three houses and our gifts will be shared among the three: a 12 bed men’s home; a 14 bed women’s home and an 8 bed women and children’s home. WV Sober Living is new to Christmas in July but not to our STUFF kit ministry and they are very excited to be our recipient this year. 

Oftentimes our tree is filled with “fun” items to purchase like baby clothes or decorative items or new shoes for senior women. Just as important are the every day items like dishwasher pods and toothpaste! That’s what you’ll see on our tree this year. In addition they are in need of a new washer and dryer for one of the homes. If you would like to contribute a cash donation toward a set, feel free to make an offering clearly marked for Christmas in July. We will present them with a check toward a new washer and dryer so they can select what they want. 

The tree is up, decorated and just waiting for you to select as many gift ideas as you’d like! Bring your gifts by July 26 and plan to stay for our pot luck Christmas meal after church. Please see Robin Snyder if you have questions. Merry Christmas!
