The
Trinity Women of the ELCA is an active group in the life
of the church, sharing a wealth of time, talent and
monetarily. The Trinity WELCA women take seriously the mission
statement to "Act Boldly on their faith in Jesus
Christ". Several women also participate in the Faithful
Needles and the Prayer Shawl
Ministry.
Circles
share in the responsibilities of providing coffee fellowships;
remembering Trinity's Care List list cards, visits, phone
calls, and gifts; nursery checkups, kitchen and lounge
tidiness; serving on various committees of the church; hosting
the general WELCA meetings and providing a variety of
programs; as well as individual circle programs.
A majority
of the women continue to be actively involved in community
service programs that Trinity annually supports financially.
Awesome
gatherings such as the Cluster Meetings, the Triennial
Gathering and state WELCA Synodical Conventions energize us to
"act boldly" as we continue to grow
spiritually in Christ.
Continuing
projects are the Navajo Indian Project and the Ronald McDonald
House project. Come join us!
| The
symbol -- with the cross, water and a white lily --
identifies the women of the Evangelical Lutheran
Church in America as children of God; baptized,
forgiven, adopted into God's family, full of grace and
hope in eternal life. It is a reminder of the
growth, beauty, and vitality that rises out of that
life-giving baptismal water. |
