 Here at Trinity
Evangelical Lutheran Church, our church building is bustling
with activity. The events are so numerous that the best
way to cover them is to list them. The following list
includes some of the events that occur during the year by one committee/ministry
or another. The building is also heavily used by outside
organizations such as AA, The International Club, Master
Gardeners - to name just a few. You can download
a copy of our "House Rules" for use of the property.
Here are
some of the things that bring our church family together on
days other than Sunday:
- The
Men's Breakfast group meets the 3rd Saturday of every
month at 7:30AM. Rise and shine for you will find
the men of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church to be a
fine group of cooks. No set menu, no set program -
just good food, good fellowship and good fun
- The
Ladies Mad Hatter Tea Party - This is a time when the
ladies dust off those bonnets and get out their glue guns
to create a wonderful show of hats, caps and
bonnets. High tea is offered along with the dainty
sandwiches and sweets. The programs are always
entertaining. This is a yearly spring event.
- Shrove
Tuesday Pancake Supper - a super night of great
pancakes, wonderful games and lots of fun!
- Sports!
Don't forget the Men's Softball Team!!
- The
Birthday Dinner - a good time is had by all as we
celebrate Trinity's birthday with a special Birthday
dinner in the fall of the year. Trinity's birthday??
Why we, the people, ARE Trinity!
- Spaghetti Dinner & Spring Ring Handbell Concert in early May to earn funds for the Christmas food baskets donated to Covenant House.
- TYG Yard Sale held in early May in conjunction with the East End Yard Sale
- Annual Church Picnic
- Trinity
Evangelical Lutheran Church sponsors numerous supper
clubs -- a comfortable fun way to get to know each
other better and learn how we can support one another.
