Our Mission is to live and share God's word in Jesus Christ

Located in downtown Charleston, West Virginia, serving God in the Greater Kanawha Valley for over 85 years.

Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church is part of the West Virginia-Western Maryland Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, which is in full communion with the Presbyterian Church (USA), the Reformed Church in America (RCA), the United Church of Christ (UCC), the Moravian Church in America, and the Episcopal Church

Some people at Trinity have friendships that extend back decades; some grew up in this church. Many others have joined Trinity in the past few years. All have found deep friendships, help during difficult times, and opportunities to participate in a caring community of faith. We enjoy each other's company and find many ways to have fun together.

We believe that we are saved by the grace of God alone and not by anything we do. We need only to believe that our sins are forgiven because Christ died to redeem us.

Music is an important part of our worship: choirs, handbells, brass, strings, organs, and the whole congregation make a joyful noise in Lutheran churches.

We offer many different ministries that serve our faith, congregation, and community. We welcome all people to come and worship with us and become a part of our growing family.
